Our Project

Whether it regards Clos du Roy located in the village of Saillans, or Château Roc Meynard located in the neighboring village of Villegouge, terroirs are all of a very high quality and their strong potential has been accepted for a long time. The 18th century Belleyme map evidences vines were already present more than two centuries ago. Then, our project, particularly when planting, is to make the most of this potential by seeking the best rootstocks and by favoring high densities: 6000 vines/hectare for Fronsac vineyard and 5000 vines/hectare for Bordeaux Supérieurs and Bordeaux White wines.
