“Brandeau” refers to an area of Château Roc Meynard. Production began in 1985. Château Brandeau is a Bordeaux red wine made from the youngest vines of Château Roc Meynard. Those wines are more supple with an appealing fruity character that we try to enhance; they are to be enjoyed as young wines.

Given Château Roc Meynard’s vineyard is reaching maturity so that there is less and less young vines, a Bordeaux Supérieur Château Brandeau is exclusively offered to some markets. Its expression is really very close to Château Roc Meynard.
